Indian Navy Entrance Test INET Exam For Officers in September 2019

Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) Exam is scheduled to be taken next month i.e., September 2019. This new Computer-based INET Exam was announced by the Indian Navy in May 2019 for the selection of Officers in the Indian Navy. And now, the first Indian Navy Entrance Test (Officers), i.e. INET (Officers), is scheduled in September 2019 in various centers across the country. 

This exam is solely based for the recruitment of Officers in the Indian Navy as Permanent as well as Short-Service Commission. As mentioned in the previous post that comprises all the deep details of INET Exam 2019, this exam is only for graduated candidates. 

Like most of the Officer's entry in the Indian Navy, SSB will be the final selection stage for the INET Exam. Candidates will be shortlisted for the SSB on the basis of marks scored by them in the INET Exam.

INET Navy Notification and Exam Date

In this new Officer Selection process, the INET Exam will only be taken twice in a year on every six months. Details of entries, age, and educational qualifications are available on www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Candidates are advised to register once on the website to fill in their personal, communication and educational particulars, as well as upload their supporting documents. Doing this before the application submission window opens, is advisable in order to save time. Once your form will be submitted successfully, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the copy of your application on the mail id you have submitted to register on the website.

Admit card will be issued for the examination only to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee and who are entitled to waiver of examination fee. The Admit Card will be downloaded from the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in tentatively by the second week of Aug 19.

Examination Details

➣ The INET Exam will be conducted on September at one of the INET centers as per their choice, subject to availability of slots at that center.

➣ INET exam will be of two hours duration. It will contain 100 Multiple Choice Questions comprising Questions on English, Reasoning & Numerical Ability, General Science, Mathematical Aptitude & General Knowledge. 

➣ Each section will carry 100 marks with negative marking of one mark for incorrect answer.
