Armed Forces Medical Services Recruitment AFMC Notification 2019 invites the eligible candidates for the Short Service Commissioned Officer (SSC) in the Armed Forces Medical Service.  Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply for this post meeting other eligibility criteria. Candidates can apply for this job starting from April 27th, 2019 from the official website of the Armed Forces Medical Service.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Criteria: Candidates who have passed their final MBBS Examination in the first or second attempt and also have completed their internship are eligible to apply for the Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Service. You must note that, only candidates who have passed their final MBBS examination in first or second attempt are eligible for this post. No candidates are allowed who have passed their final MBBS Exam in more than two attempts.

2. Qualification Criteria: The applicant must complete his medical examination as prescribed in the First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of IMC Act 1956. Candidates who failed to possess these criteria are ineligible to apply for the same. In addition, the applicant going to apply for this post must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI. Even, Postgraduate degree/diploma holders recognized by the State Medical Council/MCI are also eligible to apply.

3. Citizenship: Only Indian citizens both male and female are eligible to apply for the SSC in the Armed Forces Medical Service.

4. Age Limit: The candidate must not attain the age of 45 years as on 31st Dec 2019.

Additional Details

1. Available Vacancy: A total of 150 vacancies are available to be filled out of which 135 place is vacant for Males and 15 place is vacant for Females

2. Application Fee: A sum of Rs 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) is required for the Application which can only be payable via Online Payment.

3. Interview Call Letter: Call Letter will be made available Online after the successful completion of Application. 

4. Interview Place: New Delhi

5. Date of Notification:  The notification will be released officially by the respected department on April 27 on the official website www.amcsscentry.gov.in.

6. Registration Date: The registration for this post will commence on April 27 and will end on 26th May 2019.
